Bird Banding 101 Webinar!

What exactly can you learn from a bird in the hand? In this webinar we’ll explore the history of bird banding and what biologists can learn from briefly capturing and releasing wild birds. We’ll learn about the basic banding process that has been in practice for over a century as well as how modern technologies such as GPS and radio telemetry have enhanced our ability to track wild birds. This interactive webinar will also include many photos of birds up close so you can further hone your bird identification skills!
